Activity spike

Seeing as I've got all this free time on my hands, I subconsciously decided recently that I would suddenly become an active member of the websites I frequent again. I started with Newgrounds, becoming an active forum poster and taking part in the first NG game jam (designer, musician and voice actor) which gave me a massive spike in my productivity. I started using Flash again, and made an almost funny spam submission as a dare. I started making game engines and little runcycles (framerate mutilation) and from this, I became active on deviantART again, posting 2 submissions today, both dedicated to MF DOOM (1 and 2).

Speaking of DOOM, the day before that I made a 43-track Hip Hop compilation containing mostly the Vaudeville Villain himself. I made it because I know alot of people who listen to mainstream-underground conduits such as Gorrilaz and Gnarls Barkley, but haven't bothered to look into the people behind these aliases (DangerMouse, Doom, Cee-Lo etc). Therefore the album is intended for those in that position; those who are interested into digging deeper into this wonderful genre but don't necessarily know where to start. I made a 2-part video on Youtube (1 and 2 - I look and sound like absolute shit, but the key points are there) wherein I go into more detail about it, as well as providing the download link in both descriptions. I also spurt some inaudible nonsense about an upcoming SSFIV tourney (EEEEK!!!) and introduce my new Street Fighter alias-LAURIE-YUKEN (geddit?).

Now that you're thinking about Street Fighter, take some time to check out a short video of an Akuma combo I made. It's nothing special, but the background music IS the song I composed for the NG Game Jam I mentioned earlier (it all ties in) if you were curious to hear that. Anyways, with this large activity spike I decided to give my blog summore love; in case anyone had forgotten it's existence. I do plan on making an actual article/critique-esque thing as per the norm on this blog, I just thought you might want to know about every little thing that goes on in my life. Which reminds me, next post will go into my recent trouble with getting erections.
